Wasn't able to adapt at all during the duel. He only made 1 decent play which was when he went for goyo warrior, which I stopped with Fiendish chain and popped with Descendant!

Had hardly any control during the duel, but once. I took back the control, which was when he summoned Goyo.
Competitiveness: 3/10
Doesn't show much competitiveness if I'm honest, it seemed like a weak deck that could be worked on quite a bit. I would advise to work more on the synergy of the cards in the deck and how they will work together.
Siding Skills: 3/10
Side deck isn't great, but it's not terrible either. He said he didn't side as he had nothing for Gravekeepers, but he had a Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror in his side deck. I would advise to add more side deck cards that counter a wider range of decks, things like Karma Cut and stuff of that nature.

Amazing attitude, not problem here!
Play-style and How Effectively it is Utilized: 4/20
He didn't manage to utilize his plays that well, the only time he achieved this was when he summoned Goyo, which was his only successful, decent move.

Was paying attention the whole duel, knew exactly what was happening and didn't need to ask me what I did or anything of that nature!
Synergy: 3/10
The cards in the deck seem to work fairly well together, but he didn't get a chance to show it in the duel. After looking at the deck, I can't say I would advise running a lot of the cards he opted to run.
