With The New Challengers coming into the TCG in a week and Secrets of Eternity just around the corner, new decks are bound to impact the meta. The homework here will be to analyze the decks coming in these packs and explain how they are going to influence the current metagame. The following assignments must be formatted in an organized article submitted to me through PM.

Gravekeeper Brown: Choose 3 of these new decks and thoroughly explaining their play styles and strengths.
Spellbook Green: Do the above assignment + how you think those decks will impact the current meta/face off against the top 3
Lightsworn White: Do the above 2 assignments but do not limit the decks to 3. Discuss the game as a whole and mention decks that you think have a chance to be top contenders. Also mention possible side deck choices to combat these decks.

ANY DORM: For extra DP, you can include a deck build of one of these decks.

1)i tried this deck, not like gishki use card like gishki and shadow as tribute and searcher, this deck use ritual monster as searcher.

2)most of the ritual monster in this deck base on anti monster from extra deck, so their effect target is very limited

3)the best monster in this deck is trishula, normally you will use exomirror to summon this card, unless you have a trishula and have a clau in your hand, then you will use kaleidomirror to summon this card.

4)if gishki is a recycle ritual deck, then necloth is a searcher ritual deck, this deck have many search effect.

5)the best searcher in this deck is brionac, this card can access to many cards, (almost all cards in your deck)

6)so the basic engine for this deck is brio, clau and unicore, 2 trishula 3 shrit.

7)in this deck manju is exactly same with senju, you can use senju to search brio and brio can access to any cards in your deck.

8)brionac really is a good card in this deck, to end my discussion i will show 3 combo for this deck.....

combo 1)how to summon trishula with 2 cards in your hand?

the card you need is brionac and trishula in your hand only

discard brio to add claus, discard claus to add exomirror, banish claus and brio with exomirror to summon trishula.

the tribute to summon this card with exomirror normally will be:
shrit
lv4 + lv5(unicore + catastor)
lv3 + lv6(claus + brionac)

if you want to summon it with kaleidomirror, then the only method is 9+3(trishula + claus, use monster like quasar)

as you can see, most of the combo in this deck need brio because brio can access to anything in this deck


in gishki deck the best normal spell card is salvage, in necloth deck the best normal spell card will be preparation to rite,why is this card? because this card can search brio

then the second combo is combo around herald with unicore, i think most of the player already knew this combo, the reason for use this combo also because want to add brio...

then the last combo is combo around brionac.

when you have 2 brionac and 1 kaleido mirror in your hand:

activate kaleido mirror, send quasar dragon(12) from extra deck to graveyard to summon both brionac(6+6)
use brionac effect if you can(dont waste)
use both brionac to xyz summon inzektor exa-beetle, use exa-battle effect to equip quasar dragon from your graveyard to bettle

use bettle effect to send your quasar dragon and one of your opponent face up card

trigger quasar dragon effect, summon a shooting star dragon from your extra deck now

you must run 3 brionac in this deck, then other card like djinn support i will not explain here.

i will post a necloth deck, this is not a good necloth deck, but this deck is very stable and fast, this deck even otk this academy's leader judgment dragon before.

most of the people dont know about this deck, this deck actually is a very good otk deck.

the main directly support cards for this deck is covenant spell/trap, those card is a continous card but have restrict effect, you will lost 1000 life point during each your stand by phase.

the otk boss for this deck is kaiser the conquest overlord, this monster can atk multiple time in one turn, but i think you only need 1 copy for this card

the main searcher for this deck is hellgate, the searcher for this card is magical astronomer kepler.

to proccess this deck combo(even this deck is otk deck, this deck still a combo deck) you need to have hellgate and swamp king on the field.

the main engine for this deck is night howling and lilith, those cards can form a good combo to recycle dd monster



so the basic combo for this deck is use swamp king to send lilith and card like kepler to graveyard to summon temujin, then normal howling to summon lilith from graveyard and add a card like another howling or kepler to hand.

the other boss monster like:
galilei(quick play escape effect)
hell armageddon(a beatstick + pendulum scale atk boost effect)
leonidas(anti effect damage)
proud ogre(pendulum scale atk boost effect)
cerberus(not a boss, this card is use to access caeser the wave overlord more easily)
temujin and alexander(use to swarm monster)
wave overlord(back-up strategy card)

this deck look like very diffucult to use, but you will like it after you fully understand this deck

another covenant card i forgot to mention is valktyrie, but this card only useful in beatdown dd deck

so my last deck is hermit yokai(this time i will make it very short)

this deck is very similar with spirit deck because it will also return to hand during the user's end phase.

this deck focus on spam your lv4 monster as the main engine for this deck to set-up your pendulum combo.

Ok i got the homework a little late. But here i go anyway.

Hermit youkai or yosenju is a wind lvl 4 beast-warrior archetype focusing on normal and pendulum summoning. most of their cards have an effect similar to spirits. When you ormal summon one of them you can normal summon another from your hand if you have one. From what i''ve seen they are a mix of fire fists and mist valley. ok so the cards are the flowing:
2 lvl 4 rock type pendulum monsters that can set the scale from 11 to 3 but you can only summon other yosenju monsters for the rest of the turn.
1 lvl 10 pendulum monster that is basically mist wurm with 3000 attack but it can only be pendulum summoned.
1 lvl 6 beast this guy is like catastor with the wind element
3 lvl 4 beast-warrior monsters ok these guys are really strong.
First theres Kamaitachi who can return one face up card to the hand
second is Kamamitachi who serches out a yosenju monster when anothe yosenju monster inflicts dmg
and last kamanitachi who can atack your opponent directly

Now this deck relies mostly on returning the enemy cards to the ad along with returning theselves so cards like divine wind of mist valley and lightning chidori are ridiculously useful add in a fiew tenki and you can search out the others and for recycling you can use quill pen of guldos to make them even better since most cards nowadays are vulnerable to compulsory eva device and the like this deck just exploits it.

Spirit beast or Ritual beast is an archetype of wind monsters focusing on a sort of banish from your side of the field fusion.
So far there are 3 lvl 6 fusion monsters. and 6 ritual beast/ritual beast tamers.
The decks beasts focus on banishing from the graveyard and the tamers focus on special summoning banished monsters. and from there they banish and fusion summon a monster.
The monsters so far are
Apelon: Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can banish 1 "Ritual Beast" card from your Graveyard; this turn, all "Ritual Beast" monsters you control gain 500 ATK and DEF. You can only Special Summon 1 "Apelion the Noble Ritual Beast" per turn.
Petolphin: Once per turn: You can banish 1 "Ritual Beast" card from your hand, then target 1 card your opponent controls; return it to the hand. You can only Special Summon "Petolphin the Noble Ritual Beast" once per turn.
Kannahawk: Once per turn: You can banish 1 "Ritual Beast" card from your Deck, and if you do, add that card to your hand during your 2nd Standby Phase after activation. You can only Special Summon "Kannahawk the Noble Ritual Beast" once per turn.
Wen If this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 of your banished "Ritual Beast" monsters; Special Summon that target. You can only Special Summon 1 "Wen the Ritual Beast Tamer" per turn.
elder: After you Normal Summon this card, you can Normal Summon 1 "Ritual Beast" monster during your Main Phase this turn, in addition to your Normal Summon/Set. (You can only gain this effect once per turn.) You can only Special Summon "Elder of the Ritual Beast Tamers" once per turn.
rera: If this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 "Ritual Beast" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it. You can only Special Summon "Rera the Ritual Beast Tamer" once per turn.

And the fusions:
Petolphin:Cannot be destroyed by card effects. During either player's turn: You can return this card to the Extra Deck, then target 1 of your banished "Ritual Beast Tamer" monsters and 1 of your banished "Noble Ritual Beast" monsters; Special Summon them in Defense Position.
Apelon: If this card attacks, it is unaffected by other card effects until the end of the Damage Step. During either player's turn: You can return this card to the Extra Deck, then target 1 of your banished "Ritual Beast Tamer" monsters and 1 of your banished "Noble Spirit Beast" monsters; Special Summon them in Defense Position.
Kannahawk: Once per turn: You can target 2 of your banished "Spirit Beast" cards; return them to the Graveyard, and if you do, add 1 "Spirit Beast" card from your Deck to your hand. During either player's turn: You can return this card to the Extra Deck, then target 1 of your banished "Ritual Beast Tamer" monsters and 1 of your banished "Noble Spirit Beast" monsters; Special Summon them in Defense Position.

Neacloth or Nekroz is an archetype focusing on ritual summoning. By two methods one is to ritual summon from the hand or grave and the second to use monsters from the extra deck. it focuses on searching out various monsters fro your deck then using the beyond massive toolbox to summon powerful rituals. Primarily, the Nekroz Ritual Monsters bear high ATK or DEF and a strong effect similar to that of their Synchro counterparts. The effects of those ones with Level from 3 to 6 are used to suppress monsters Summoned from the Extra Deck, while the effects of those ones whose Levels range from 7 to 10 give to the player more card advantage, either by destroying and/or banishing other cards or letting the player draw cards.
Their Ritual Spell Cards also have additional effects that help to achieve the requirements of Ritual Summoning: Nekroz Exomirror can banish fallen Necloth monsters as part of the Tributes needed for the Ritual Summon, while Nekroz Kaleidomirror can send, from the Extra Deck, a monster whose Level is the same as the intended Ritual Monster.
After a long time this is a deck that can use ritual summoning in actual meta. It has masive lock down potential with ritual busters and can recycle a pot with necroface.
