In the Advanced Duel Arena you can have one of two choices which are as follows;

- Single Duel;
                 - 50 points goes to the winner.
                 - The loser gains and loses nothing.
                  - Latest Ban List Applies.
                  - Must be hosted in Advanced (Unrated).
- Match Duel;
                 - The winner gains 100 points.
                 - The loser gains and loses nothing.
                  - Latest Ban List Applies.
                  - Must be hosted in Advanced (Unrated).

In the Traditional Duel Arena you can have the same as the above, but with altered conditions, which are;

- Single Duel;
                 - 50 points goes to the winner.
                 - The loser gains and loses nothing.
                  - All banned cards are limited to 1.
                  - Must be hosted in Traditional (Unrated).
- Match Duel;
                 - The winner gains 100 points.
                 - The loser gains and loses nothing.
                  - All banned cards are limited to 1.
                  - Must be hosted in Traditional (Unrated).

You must post a screenshot of your win along with proof that it was a duel arena duel. I highly suggest that before picking rock, paper or scissors on Dueling Network, you ask your opponent to confirm in the chat that it is a duel arena, single/match duel and take a screenshot of it and post that along with your win. Also, when you win, lose or tie in a duel it will be added to your DA record.

When you manage to collect a certain amount of duel arena victories you can request a userbar. The milestones are as follows;

10 Victories - Duel Arena Amateur
20 Victories - Duel Arena Pro
30 Victories - Duel Arena Expert
